Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall: What's New at The Stonewater
Plus a free spa pass for your next visit
Hello hello, people who have visited us at The Stonewater at least once and have yet to unsubscribe to these newsletter updates (unsubscribe button below if you hate us). Maybe you haven’t come to The Stonewater yet and you subscribed to the newsletter for our whims and fancies. We love you all the same (yes, even the people who scrolled to the bottom to unsubscribe already).
Summer might not officially be over until the 21st, but here at The Stonewater, it’s feeling pretty autumnal. The trees are starting to change leaves! The mornings are crisp and the evenings are too! It’s fall y’all!
While I’m a famous summer hater, I’m sad to see this one go. It was such a special season at The Stonewater – we hosted so many cool groups – Bad Academy’s Bad Summer Camp, all the musicians who came to perform at Pender Harbour’s Folk Fest – and got to sponsor some dope events like the Attack of Danger Bay skateboarding race.
We’ve started getting more and more reviews (most of which were 5-stars by the way; yes, that’s a humble brag). We also got some of our first pieces of news coverage in two of our dream publications – Vancouver is Awesome and BC Business. It’s so exciting seeing that our vision for The Stonewater is resonating with people!
Needless to say, this past summer was a big one for us! All good things must come to an end though. And as cliched quotes on Pinterest might tell you – some things have to end in order for better things to begin. And as an Autumn guy, I firmly believe better things are coming to The Stonewater this upcoming season.
Exciting Fall Things Happening on the Coast this season:
Bioluminescence still available to view until the end of the month (weather permitting)
Moody, rainy beach walks (there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad attire)
The annual Sunshine Coast Art Crawl (October 18-20)
Foraging tours
Picture this: It’s cold and grey and drizzly outside. You and you’re two best friends have booked a weekend away at The Stonewater (duh). You spend the first night just chilling in your room – making dinner and watching movies all cozied up. The next morning you go for a coffee and a long walk along Francis Point. You come back to The Stonewater for an afternoon in our Moonshine Spa because you booked using the code FreeSpa and have a free spa pass. That evening you venture into Sechelt for dinner and drinks at Batch 44. On Sunday morning you wake up early to hike the Skookumchuck and see the rapids before checking out and catching the ferry home. You arrive at your place in Vancouver within 2.5 hours refreshed, recharged and ready to tackle your week.
Sound too good to be true? It’s not. Here’s the code to make it happen: FreeSpa. All you gotta do is book.
Looking forward to seeing you this Fall!
Xoxo,
